Selling
How selling on WearIt works
From application to payout, here’s every step of listing a piece with us — and why our authentication-first model means your buyer can trust what they receive.

WearIt is a seller-vetted marketplace
Not everyone can list on WearIt. We review every seller before they’re approved to post, because every item that leaves our hub is authenticated by our team first. That process only works if the people putting items up for sale care about provenance as much as we do.
If you’d like to sell with us, start with the Apply to Sell button in the top navigation. The application takes about ten minutes.
The four stages of a listing
1. Application. You tell us about yourself, the pieces you want to sell, and how you sourced them. We review within two business days.
2. Listing. Once approved, you upload photos, set a price, and submit your listing. Our team checks the details before it goes live.
3. Sale & authentication. When a buyer purchases, you ship the item to our hub. We inspect, authenticate, and photograph it. If it passes, we forward it to the buyer.
4. Payout. You’re paid after the buyer receives the item and the return window closes. Most payouts land within 10–14 days of the sale.
What makes a great listing
Clear, natural-light photos from multiple angles — the item on its own, the hardware and logos up close, the tags and serial numbers, the original packaging and any authentication cards that come with it. A price that reflects current market value: we can help you with that if you’re unsure. And a title and description that are specific (“Hermès Kelly 25 — Noir Togo leather, gold hardware, brand new in box”) rather than generic (“black designer bag”).
Listings that tick all those boxes sell in a fraction of the time and get fewer price-negotiation requests.
